Now that you have prepared your body and mind to receive and circulate energy, you are ready to begin developing greater physical power in your body. Always use the previous flow and circulation exercises to open and prepare your body before practicing these or any other advanced DahnMuDo forms. Now you are ready to develop relaxed power in your body, dropping all resistance and letting the ebb and flow of energy do the work for you.


In this segment, you will be introduced to the use of the sword. This is a great tool for building focus and energy awareness. Now, you are not just feeling your own body and energy, you are also interacting with something, just as you would in your daily life. When you learn to interact with it well, you will feel total oneness with it, and you will be able to direct energy through it just as you do through your own body.

These exercises will work your lower body more, and thus they will build more energy in your dahn jon. They also continue to open the meridian system of the body, particularly Dahn-gong-12-jin-gyeong. All of the 12 meridians are worked out, and all of these relate to a particular organ of the body, so this form is especially good for self-healing.
