To help others discover their own special powers and destiny, The Secret of Mago Castle
author Rebecca Tinkle gave a weekend workshop based on the book Sedona Mago Retreat
from December 5-7, 2014.
The book is a fantasy novel that addresses the real issues humanity currently faces. It is a call to bring out the best in the human spirit to save the place we all call home.
Five people attended the retreat that took people on the journey of the book. Through a series of talks and meditations, they learned about the ChunBuKyung
and the concept of true self versus false self. They connected with Mago, or the spirit of the earth, and they practiced looking inside themselves to see who they truly are and what they want. One big theme was also self-acceptance.
"Halfway through the workshop we witnessed the depths of our own unique characters emerge safely into the world. The moment this shift happened, an immense harmony fell upon our group. Our spirits unified, and we experienced the precious bond that was intended for all of us – feeling for ourselves what the world would feel like if everyone completely accepted each and every aspect of themselves (as well as each other) as precious–and moved through the world from this place of unconditional love," Rebecca Tinkle said about her experience of leading the workshop.
In conjunction with the workshop, CYE had a book review contest. Entrants who posted a review of The Secret of Mago Castle
on Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com, or Goodreads.com were qualified for a chance to win a First prize winner Mafi Romero won a FREE 3-day, 2-night personal retreat at Sedona Mago Retreat in Sedona, Arizona that includes time with author Rebecca Tinkle and a FREE round-trip flight.
