On a triple digit evening in Scottsdale, Ariz., a large crowd of people gathered in the coolness of the ballroom of the Scottsdale Hilton. Dressed in light, comfortable clothing as further insurance against the heat, the nearly 300 guests waited in anticipation for the screening of the groundbreaking documentary,
Change: The LifeParticle Effect.
Live piano music greeted guests as they browsed the products and services available, including books from Best Life Media and aura readings. A live qigong demonstration kicked off the evening’s events as the crowd found their seats.
Mayors from Tempe, Chandler and Phoenix sent in congratulatory messages which were read during introductions.
When the lights dimmed, attendees got an in-depth peek at
Change. And as the applause faded and the lights came up, Executive Producer and meditation expert Ilchi Lee took the stage.
Lee gave a lecture which touched on topics in the film. Additionally, he introduced the audience to enhanced energy meditation using the magnets artfully attached to each chair. This demonstration helped audience members learn more about energy as well as feel it in their bodies.
Using examples from the past to inform the future, Lee spoke about how the use and understanding of electricity caused a revolution in human consciousness and believes a similar leap is possible using and understanding magnetics. He pointed out that magnetics are accessible to more people and less dangerous than electricity.
Lee also suggested that meditating with the magnets would help people identify and achieve the “zero point” in their consciousness. He elaborated on the zero point and identity, explaining that it comes before we see ourselves as any gender, orientation, ethnic group, or religion.
Additionally, Lee emphasized a connection to quantum physics and other scientific disciplines when discussing meditation. People should approach meditation, their bodies, their health, and their spiritual life from a similar objective viewpoint, he said.
At the end of the program, Lee played a hand drum with the LifeParticle Sun in the center and signed DVDs and books for guests.
