What Is the Brain Education system?


The 5-Step Brain Education system is a direct and comprehensive way to stimulate and expand the capacities of your brain, developed by Ilchi Lee. The easy-to-do exercises that make up the five steps are drawn from Eastern meditative practices as well as contemporary neuroscience and Western understandings of brain physiology and psychology. When you practice these steps faithfully you can transform your brain and your life.



The five steps that you'll experience in this course are:

 

  1. Brain Sensitizing: This step addresses the whole body and brain, raising your overall awareness of your brain and waking up your senses.
  2. Brain Versatilizing: This step generally activates the functions of the neocortex and helps make your brain more flexible so you can easily accept change.
  3. Brain Refreshing: This step deals with the fixed beliefs of the neocortex and the emotional memories stored in the limbic system. The focus is on learning how to free your brain from unhelpful negative patterns of emotion or thought.
  4. Brain Integrating: This step awakens the brainstem and accesses the original lifeforce that lies deep within it. The focus is on revisiting core information that affects your life and integrating the functions of the different layers of the brain so that you can unleash your full potential.
  5. Brain Mastering: This final step addresses the entire brain and is for learning how to intentionally employ the brain's core functions in creating your life.
