Experience improved health, wellness, and energy with integrative mind-body exercise based on East Asian energy principles. Energy is the medium that connects the body and brain. When you can feel and direct your own energy, you’re able to deeply connect mind and body for tension release, healing and even self-mastery.
This class offers various combinations of Tai Chi and Qigong basic exercises as well as different forms.
Tai Chi uses energy meridian stretching and joint rotation, and flowing formations to awaken practitioners’ ability to feel their own energy. It’s a moving meditation with smooth, graceful movements that create a quiet mind and a sense of inner stillness.
Qigong also involves simple movements and postures that help relieve joint tension, improve energy flow, and connect your mind and body.
In addition to qigong and tai chi forms, you'll also experience strength training, vibration exercises, breathing and focus exercises, and energy meditations. Through all of these elements, you will energize, integrate, and tonify all your body systems and enhance your mental capacities.
This class is suitable for beginner to advanced practitioners, and moves are low-impact.
Thursdays at 8 am PT / 11 am ET and 4 pm PT / 7 pm ET.
