. Brain Education Healing Point works to stimulate acupressure points that are located throughout meridian pathways. Each meridian not only has its physical symptoms, but also its own physiological and energy functions that can affect your emotions, mood, and stress level. Meridians are located all over the body but the most simple and effective way to stimulate these points is through the hands.
When these points are stimulated, the parasympathetic nervous system activates and sends signals through the brain to the specified organs to send blood flow and energy there. With increased circulation, the organ can release any built up tension and stress, raise your temperature, clear your thoughts, and deepen your breathing.
How to Find Your Brain Education Healing Points
1. Extend your non-dominant hand in front of you.
2. Using the thumbnail of your other hand, push down on each of the points below. Remember the level of pain on each of the points. The point with the most pain is the “Brain Education Healing Point,” which corresponds with the organ that may be weak or have blockages.
3. When you’ve found the Brain Education Healing Point, now use the fatty part of your thumb to rub it. Imagine you are rubbing out the pain by soothing it out with your thumb. Rub for about 1-2 minutes, or until the pain goes away.
4. Repeat this for other points that were painful.
