How to Use the One Minute Change App in 5 Steps

You’ve downloaded the One Minute Change app, even learned about the history and what it can do to your body — and now you’re ready to jump in. Let’s get you all set up with using the app in a step-by-step guide.

1. Login/Sign Up

Log in with your Change Your Energy account — if you don’t have one, it’s really easy to sign up for a free one. Click Log In or Sign Up and type in your details. Then click “Start” on the home screen.

2. Pick a Category

Scroll through the available categories, then pick the one you want to start with.

3. Set up Your Alarm + Schedule

Set up your alarm by clicking the plus sign in the bottom right corner, then pick a time to start the every-hour-reminder. Set to active and choose an alarm sound, then your schedule is set up. You can turn alarm times on or off in the schedule, too, by tapping the switch next to the time.

4. Start Exercising

At the start of the next hour, your reminder will pop on screen along with an alarm. Hit OK and then Start and your first exercise will begin — the instructor will talk you through it and even demonstrate how to properly perform the exercise.

5. Customize a Routine

You can even customize your routine if you don’t want to choose a default category. Just click “Custom Workout”, set your alarm as usual, then pick which exercises you want to include. Click the check mark when you’re done. Now you can set to active or delete the schedule whenever you need to.

You’re all ready to go!! Now you’ll be moving every hour, for a minute, every single day.

I have the upgraded app and my problem with the customized routine is that I set up the times and choose the exercises.   Then, the alarm doesn't go off half the time and when I go in to check to see what happened, it will give me the Start/Dismiss screen, but when I hit Start, the exercise doesn't actually come up.  Yet, it counts toward Exercises Done Today, even though it didn't actually start.

The customized routine is not working, at least not for me.  When I put in a check mark and then put another, the first one vanishes.  Also the slide arrows don't work.  I asked two other people at my Center who said the same thing.  Are we doing something wrong?  I really think the customized option is a great idea and I would like to use it!

I sat with my Sabum nim, John Thompson and we looked at this. I can work the slide buttons now. As far as the customized routine goes, I still can't do it the way it says in the You Tube video, but we went in and added an exercise and checked the green check button and then went in and added another exercise at a different time, checked the green button again and so on. If this is the way it is supposed to work, then the problem is solved.

The upgrade is done but I still have the same issue with the customized routine. Also, I got the slide button to work once, but now it doesn't again. So if I want to skip an hour, it doesn't work.
